The Smart One is the product of infusing the current battery model – the lithium battery – with solar energy. In short, it is a solar powered battery that may soon compel cell phone users to throw away their traditional battery chargers in exchange for hassle-free charging that does not rely on wall sockets and wires.
Unlike traditional batteries, Simon Wilby’s invention extends uninterrupted talk time from 4 hours to 12 hours, making it hardly possible for the battery to cause interruption when being used.
